The A.J. Lowe -- First Tug Built at Killarney |

The A.J. Lowe was the first tug built at Killarney, in 1919. She was a steam tug and was 72 feet long with a 15-foot beam. She was built by A.J. Lowe and his sons in1919 on the west point of Killarney Channel, on the mainland, on property then owned by Joseph Roque. The A.J. Lowe was launched April 26th, 1920. |
