This brochure was published in 1892 by the Great Northern Transit Co. For Killarney and other communities all over the Great Lakes, steamers were crucial for traveling, as well as the shipment of equipment, products, and livestock. Also, by the 1890s, Canada had a big campaign going to attract immigrants, and many people were heading to lands out west.
